The medical chamber of the FMH accepted the creation of an Aptitude Certificate in complementary education in diving medicine.

This capacity entered into function by January 2001, the transitory period ended by December 31, 2001.

Both the Medical Examiner of Divers and the Diving Medicine Physician courses are prerequisites for application.

The SUHMS issued 28 Certificates since the first quater of 2002.

All holders of Aptitude Diplomas issued 2002 are kindly requested to apply for recertification prior to June 30, 2007
